Nem feltétlenül azért lakunk egy helyen, mert ott otthon érezzük magunkat. Mindenütt, ahol élünk, meg kell ismernünk a helyi kódokat. Ha nem ismerjük meg, elveszítjük a beszélgetések a fonalát, a köteléket a többiekkel, és a senki földjén maradunk.
Mit csinalhatunk?
Megmértük a Duna szélességét az Erzsébet hídnál, kiragasztottuk a galéria kirakatának üvegére egy otthon ablakának fényképét, s lemértük jónéhány budapesti utca hosszát cérnával.

Living in a place does not always mean feeling like at home. To be at home, it is necessary to know the social and cultural codes. If one doesn´t, he'll soon be getting lost in conversations, in relations with other people, staying outside, in the no-mans-land.

What can one do to find her or his place?  We measured the Danube on the Erzsebet bridge, then measured 60 streets of Budapest in order to transform them to sewing thread bobbins. We also took a photo of an anonymous window to make it ours on the gallery window and mark  the transparent border between the public and the private space.

Ce n'est pas parce que nous habitons un endroit que l'on peut se sentir chez soi. Il faut connaître les codes. Si on ne les maîtrisent pas alors on perd vite le fil des conversations, le lien avec les autres, et on reste dans le blanc ...
Qu'est-ce qu'on peut faire?
Nous avons mesuré le Danube sur le pont Erzsebet, nous avons photographié une fenetre anonyme pour la faire notre sur la vitrine de la galerie, et nous avons mesuré des rues de Budapest pour les transformer en bobines de fil a coudre.
