"Budapesten, a Liget Galériában kiállító Kiff Doso
(Kiss Dezső) és A.A. Czeizel (Czeizel Balázs) foto-, xerox és kompjutertechnikával
készült elektro-image-ai ellentétes irányból közelítik meg a szavak, fogalmak
világait. Kiff Doso magát ateistának vallja, mégis, vagy éppen ezért fontos
olvasmányai a szent könyvek, kódexek, az emberiség kollektív emlékezetének
lenyomatai, gondolkodásának tanúi... Melyek a legfontosabbnak ítélt legelső
szavak? Így talált rá a Biblia és a Korán közös első szavára: "Legyen",
és a Gnosztikus kódexére: "Tévedsz"... K.D. a Ligetben 3 x 2 méteres elektronikus
mozaikképén a "Tévedsz" szó köré gondolati imaszőnyeget szőtt. Ma ez a
szó az aktuális. Mert a tévedhetetlenség hamis álarca mögül szörnyetegek
leselkednek ránk, de azzá válhatunk mi is.
A.A. Czeizel saját és gyermekei arcát, arcrészleteit
leheletfinom, váltakozó vastagságú függőleges, vízszintes és átlós vonalakból,
a számítógép bevonásával újraépített tónusok mögé rejti. A rejtőzködő
arcok, szemek előtt rejtőzködő szavak sorakoznak. Ezek a szavak olvashatóságukat,
így érthetőségüket veszítve - ami abból adódik, hogy a betűk teljesen egymásra
csúsznak - képi értelmet kapnak. Ettől kezdve már a szavak is vékonyabb
és vastagabb vonalak halmazai. Sűritmények, amelyekben tetten érhetô az
idővel való érzékeny manipuláció..."

``The exhibition of Kiff Doso /Dezső Kiss/ and A.A. Ceizel
/Balázs Ceizel/ was shown at the Liget Gallery in Budapest. Their electro-images
made by photo-, xerox and computertechniques approach the worlds of words
and ideas. Kiff Doso sets up for an athiest, but, or for that very reason,
his important readings are the holy books, codexes, the imprints of the
collective memory of mankind, the witnesses of his thinking. Which are
the very first words considered to be the most important? That is the way
he found the mutual first word of the Bible and the Koran: ``Be``, and
the one of the Gnostic Codex:``You are wrong``...At the Liget, D.K. wove
a prayer rug of thought around the word``you are wrong`` in his 3 m x 2
m electronic mosaic picture. This is a topical word today. Because monsters
are watching for us from behind the cunning mask of inerrancy, and we can
also became monsters ourselves.
Using the computer, A.A. Czeizel hides his own and his
children`s faces, fragmented faces behind tones rebuilt of ethereal, horizontal,
vertical and diagonal lines of alternating width. Before the hiding faces
and eyes there are hiding words. As the letters slide onto each other,
the words are illegible, and lose their intelligibility, and this way they
receive picture readings.. From now on the words are also the masses of
thin and thick lines. Concentrates, in which the sensitive manipulation
with time can be taken in the act...``
